For a selected file Trigger in OneDrive For Business Connector.(Power Automate Cloud flows)
It is a trigger that specifies a file in OneDrive to launch.
How to use
Click on "Create" then "Instant cloud flow".
Specify any flow name, select "For a selected file" and click "Create".
You will be taken to the flow creation screen and the "For a selected file" step will appear.
There are no specific parameters to specify, but you can select "Add an input" to receive input values when the flow is started.
Select "Add an input" to select an input format.
The left column is the name of the input value. In subsequent steps, it will be stored as dynamic content with the specified name.
The right column is the description of the input field that is displayed when the trigger is activated.
Launch a Flow
After saving a flow, right-click on the file in OneDrive to display a list of flows that can be activated.
Select the flow you wish to launch from the list.
Note that the first time you launch a Flow, you will need to configure the login settings for Microsoft365.
After setting the input values, click "Run Flow" to execute the flow.
Dynamic contents
n subsequent steps, input values and the following startup file information can be specified as dynamic content.
filePath
Full path of the file. Used for the parameters of the following actions.
- Get file content using path
- Get file metadata using path
- Copy file using path
- Move or rename a file using path
- Convert file using path
- Find files in folder by path
- Create share link by path
fileUrl
The URL of the file.
User id
The name of the user who invoked the trigger.
Timestamp
Date and time of trigger launched.
Use "Convert time zone" as needed for UTC.
