Open FTP connection(Power Automate Desktop Action)
This action connects and logs you in to perform operations via FTP.
However, many servers currently do not allow FTP connections, so "Open secure FTP connection" is more likely to be used.
How to use
Drag "Open FTP connection" under "FTP".
Set parameters.
Then put in place each action of the FTP operation and finally terminate it with the "Close connection" action.
Parameter
Host
Specify the domain or IP address of the FTP server.
Port
Specifies the port number. The port number is specified by the server, but is usually the default value of 21.
If it is 22, use the "Open Secure FTP Connection" option.
Active mode
When ON, the connection is active mode; when OFF, the connection is passive mode.
In an internal LAN environment protected by firewalls, etc,
connection may not be possible unless the connection is made in passive mode, which is OFF.
User Name/Password
Specify user and password for login.
Timeout
Specifies the number of seconds to wait for a connection.
Basically, there is no need to change this value, but if the FTP server is running slowly, you may need to increase the value.
Variables produced
FTPConnection
The FTP connection. Subsequent FTP-related actions will use this variable.
