Naming cell ranges can make formulas easier to understand and books easier to manage.
Usage Procedure.
Setup and use.
Select the named cell range and
Enter any name in the Name box in the upper left corner.
The name ProductList has been set.
This cell range will be available to formulas as ProductList.
Incorporating this name into a formula can make the formula concise and make the formula easier to read.
Edits and deletions.
From Formulas, select Name Manager.
The Name Manager window will appear.
All valid cell ranges are displayed here, so select the range you wish to edit and click Edit.
The name, cell range, and formula can be edited in the Edit Name window.
Names can be deleted by clicking Delete in the Name Manager window.
