OCR, which reads text and tabular data from images, has been added to Excel in the October 2022 update.
It analyzes images from files and clipboards and expands them as text or tabular data in an Excel book.
Process
Click on From Picture under Data.
Select Picture from File or Picture from Clipboard.
In the case of a file, a file dialog opens in the case of a clipboard, you can proceed directly to analysis.
Wait for the analysis to complete.
Click on Insert Data. At this point, you will be asked to confirm your analysis, but it is easier to check and correct the data after it has been expanded into cells than to check it here.
The images in the table are divided into cells.
